Perspective

I was looking through my journal and saw this, so figured.. why not post this in the community as well ?

I stumbled upon this picture and I thought ---
Something so beautiful can be crushed and destroyed just like that, leaving you with nothing but a mess that needs to be cleaned up.

Those were my thoughts. What are yours ?

Nothing's permanent. Either the flower wilts on its own or it stains someone's hands. I don't really advise squeezing flowers... but between looking at beautiful things and feeling beautiful things, I'd rather feel them. I think, everything we go through, everything we touch, stains us a little. And sometimes we take something beautiful, and hold onto it really tight, and it leaves behind a lot more stain, a 'mess'. But life is messy as it is, and if you go on avoiding touching anything, avoiding ruining anything or making a mess of anything, you're missing out on a lot of color, a lot of texture.

Treat others the way you want them to treat you kind of applies here, doesn't it. Don't crush people's flowers, Taehyunah.

Sometimes it's better for there to be a mess rather than keeping something with the premise of beauty.

Nothing lasts forever no matter how hard you hang on.

I think it's interesting that it looks like blood. Reminds you that even plant life is still life that should be respected.

Namtae~ ♥

Rather than thinking as crushing it wrongfully, doesn't it seem more optimistic to see it as transforming? Because the flower is beautiful in its initial form, it can last throughout history in artwork made by its dye.
