Hello out there, Naver world. This is Yong Junhyung of BEAST speakin'.

I'm not that great with words unless it's in the form of a song. k How's it goin'? BEAST's been busy with our concert this weekend, Beautiful Show. Did anyone go? It's always a fun experience, concerts. Brings to life a different kinda atmosphere you never knew existed until that very moment. We got a lotta love this year with Good Luck and we wanna release another album in the fall. Stay tuned? kk I do most of the writing these days, though I've still got a lot to work on, it means a lot to be able to work with the guys and make something our own. Truly.

About me? Well.. I already revealed a lot about myself during Showtime so go watch that? Not really. kkk I have a bit of a color weakness, I don't see certain colors that well. I play games on my PS3 when I get a moment to breathe and I have a 1 year old English bulldog named Hyungnim who bites people he likes. He's pretty loving in his own way, you just have to get close to him, let him nibble on you for a bit before he accepts you. In that way we're pretty alike... k

Hey Junhyung sunbaenim, welcome. I got hyped to see Beast return after the small hiatus. Are you guys able to compose and write your own songs on most of your albums now, if not all?

I'm passionate about music, along with dancing and rapping. When there's something I like, I tend to drive into it at 150% force, pretty obsessively. Music, though, is my biggest passion, and that feeling has been consistent throughout my life. How about you?

Means a lot our hoobaes are lookin' out for us too, thanks : ) We are these days yeah. The How To Love album was the first one I wrote 'n produced with the guys, and the Good Luck album's the second. I've always had one step in the door with writing and producing but now we're able to do it on a bigger scale which is really nice.

I like that. Giving 150% is something I had to start doing after my first debut failed, I wasn't into doing it that much at the time, but then I started rapping and dancing and writing for real and it all kinda took off. Music would be my answer too. Your hard work'll pay off too.

It's amazing that you guys are able to put your own sound and style out there. Was being able to write and compose something CUBE nurtured since the beginning, or are you guys just now starting to get that freedom? It reminds me of a pretty deep conversation I had with a friend just the other day.

Thanks hyung. That's inspiring. The amount of effort we put in really shows over time. It's crazy, because at first it feels like you're not getting anywhere. But you know the moment you give up, you won't get anywhere at all. It's like a mental test more than anything.

With hard work and a bit of seniority, you'll get the chance in the future too, m'sure. kk It was a mixed effort. Our CEO's always been supportive of my choices, and when I asked if it was something I could do, he let me produce some stuff with some of our resident producers and lyricists and it took off from there into it being our own stuff entirely. It's a really great feeling of freedom. Of course there are still guidelines to follow, but the spectrum has broadened considerably.

Yeah, exactly. There's a quote I read somewhere the other day, that goes something like: the moment you're ready to give up is the moment you have to keep going to succeed. And I thought that was really inspiring and so true, too.

That's amazing. I'm hoping some day once I've built some wisdom and experience, PD-nim will give me a bit more freedom. I'm guessing the chance will come with hard work and seniority as you said, so I'll just be patient.

That is so true. Essentially, you can't stop moving. Pausing may not always ruin your chance to success, but it'll at least prolong the road towards it.
