Hello! My name is Horikita Maki and I am an actress from Japan. I’ve been in many movies and dramas over the years, but I’m probably still best known for some of my earlier ones. My latest film, Higurashi no ki was just officially completed recently.

Have any of you have played Professor Layton? I’m the voice of Luke Triton. ^^

I like to cook quite a bit. Lately I’ve been branching out and looking for new dishes to try and make. Something warm for the winter, maybe. I’ve heard people saying they think it’s going to be a cold one.

I’m a big fan of One Piece and One Direction, but I’m a little behind in One Piece so no spoilers please! ^^; Things have been so busy lately, that I’ve found it hard to keep up with everything I want to watch or read. I keep a list on my wall at home reminding me of all the things I want to do, but it only seems to get longer…

I have been trying to cook different Italian foods like risotto and pastas. Even the ones that don't turn out quite right are still fun to eat. Do you cook at all or like to cook?

Last time I tried cooking by myself, I almost burned the entire dorm down.

Ah... May I ask how that happened? The only thing I can think of is that there was a grease fire?
