Hello! My name is Horikita Maki and I am an actress from Japan. I’ve been in many movies and dramas over the years, but I’m probably still best known for some of my earlier ones. My latest film, Higurashi no ki was just officially completed recently.

Have any of you have played Professor Layton? I’m the voice of Luke Triton. ^^

I like to cook quite a bit. Lately I’ve been branching out and looking for new dishes to try and make. Something warm for the winter, maybe. I’ve heard people saying they think it’s going to be a cold one.

I’m a big fan of One Piece and One Direction, but I’m a little behind in One Piece so no spoilers please! ^^; Things have been so busy lately, that I’ve found it hard to keep up with everything I want to watch or read. I keep a list on my wall at home reminding me of all the things I want to do, but it only seems to get longer…

I'm doing well! Rushed with activities. How are you? ^^

Things are a bit slower for me, right now, but it's a nice break. What kind of activities has it been? Concerts?

[shorties]

That's good! Make sure you relax plenty. ^^ We've been touring South America but we finished our last concert so we're on our way back to Korea now.

[horikita]

I'm sorry for the lateness of this reply. Hopefully you get a chance to relax too!

Did you like South America? Were you there while the World Cup was happening?

[shorties]

It's okay! I'm kind of slow sometimes. ㅋㅋ There was a little bit of time but then we were off to our other shows... and now we're back to prepare for a comeback. ㅋㅋ

I loved it! But, no, we were just there last week! I wish we could have gone for the world cup.ㅋㅋ But then I don't think anyone would have come to our concerts... So it's probably for the better.

People did tend to focus in on the world cup. It was all I heard about for the month that it was on. Are you a soccer fan at all?

I'm sure that they would have come regardless. You may have seen more soccer jersey's though.

ㅋㅋ I'm a bit of a soccer fan but not too obsessive about it like a lot of my friends are.

That's true! I hope they would've but I'm glad we didn't have to make anyone choose!
